Family Conference
On Wednesday 24th April, we held our annual Riverside Family Conference. All families were invited to our St Paul’s Cray site and we had 43 attendees. The day included an introduction to The Riverside Way (the “why” we do what we do), followed by presentations from a selection of Riverside School staff.
Topics included: Our curriculum framework; Understanding our sensory world; Belonging; and Moving on. Following lunch, provided by pupils from The Riverside Lounge, families had the opportunity to meet other families and we opened the hall to a large number of “Professional table talks”. These gave families the opportunity to find out about a range of services on offer in the area and a list of these organisations included:

"It is a great event packed with lots of information and content that is relevant to families with pupils with complex and additional needs.
